I'm tempted to treat her kindly for her relative sanity on the "more joy over a sinner who repents.." principle. But it might be smart positioning for a media career.

The "liberal mugged by reality" has been a long time feature of the media landscape. I don't know if Marge could pull off "uber Trumper has moments of clarity", perhaps that's what she's doing, perhaps she'll move back when Trump fades.

I did my quarterly check in with my various pensions today.
This internet's dead useful for a few things.

The feature to zoom in on the past 6, 3 and 1 month was instructive.
The >3 weeks of the Iran military operation saw four distinct steps - over 2% each in an hour.
Each occurring at/soon after a presidential announcement.

I observe that somebody with a brokerage account, a pile of cash/credit and advance notice could really clean up.

Distinctly possible it's inside information and manipulation. Though I'm not sure it is, for the most part. He gets up and does a speech which you'd think he intended to calm markets, and has the opposite effect. Either he's smarter than we thought or somebody think they can rely on him fucking up every time. Which on his own terms, he doesn't.

He and his family are known to have a somewhat flexible attitude to the law.

He has made comments (such as "praise Allah") that have coincidentally been the subject of long shot bets on crypto gambling sites.
