Whenever fringe party does better then expected in council elections there's always a bit of wastage from surprise winners who never thought they'd actually have top do the job, but this level seems unprecedented.
I did suspect some issues arising when they were able to get the most candidates to run, Labour were second and were asking people to stand as paper candidates (And not just the basics of delivering one leaflet and nothing else, they just wanted your name and they would put you forward), and Labour have a membership list to work from, Reform is effectively just people signing up to a mailing list.
