Mehdi Hasan's Blighty expansion of his US current affairs outfit includes employing talking heads Owen Jones and Grace Blakeley who already clock up more TV appearances than Ant and Dec. Owen can do reportage when pushed and there are some experienced journalists aboard. Good luck to the venture as establishing left leaning polemical current affairs is a tougher call than GBNews or Fox. Reactionary audiences crave confirmation bias as their beliefs are founded on feelings and nonsense that too often rub up against the objective facts. I maybe wrong but I think liberal and many on the left prefer rigorous reporting to 'I reckon' pundits. Maybe the BBC and other legacy news outfits are falling short of their Reithian objectives but that's not what Zeleo seeks to challenge. I don't need Medhi Hasan and Peter Oborne every evening telling me Israel lies through their teeth, I know that.
