I was probably looking at it through pre Troubles/GFA glasses, when Papists were only there to empty the bins.

Laila Cunningham has been the go-to Reform media gobshite in recent weeks. The post may now be vacant.

Farage hiding from the media has really shown up the paucity of Reform's front ranks as media performers, in the absence of Farage, Zia Yusuf is probably the best they've got, not a position any party would wish to be in.

American origins, of course.
And always in capitals, too.

Back in the 1980s a young lady suggested I come home with her and she would "destroy" me.
I didn't hate that.

"The brilliant" is a giveaway as well.

Not so keen on straight talking when they're on the receiving end, are they? Sounds like "hurry words" to me.

Reform, aided by some bullshit in the Telegraph, puts out this absurd communique.

You may not have thought of Serco as subversive lefties before, but Reform think they are. The pretext? The suggestion that Serco might not bid for Reform's ICE-style deportation work. This, so you'd think, was the free market. Why should a company bid for something it doesn't want to do? Reform are unhappy with this slight, and have said they'll brand Serco a "threat to national security", This is absurd stuff. The only rationale for it can be that they intend Trumpian grift. This isn't a popular position.

I love how he says in the letter 'If the Telegraph's reporting is correct.' I think the word 'if' is doing a lot of heavy lifting given that the Telegraph has become part of Reform's propaganda wing.

Reform really aren't making many friends with business. Their plans to scrap of the net zero contracts will send out the message to companies that it is no longer safe strike up deals with the government because the contracts could be terminated at at minute.

Hasn't Zia Yusuf just returned from America where he was the guest of some right wing foreign policy think tank? May Reform are already negotiating with American corporations so that they will be at the front of the queue when government contracts are being put out to tender.
