Fascinating article on how Trump cannot face defeat.

https://www.theatlantic.com/newsletters ... aign=share
Donald Trump arrived in France yesterday for this morning’s G7 summit and promptly confirmed America’s capitulation to Iran. Instead of merely repeating the outlines of what looks to be a terrible peace deal, however, Trump made a series of statements so bizarre, even by his usual standards, that they raise the question of whether the president still understands the words that come out of his own mouth.

The president began with a classic Trumpian move, daring his listeners to forget today what they knew yesterday. Just this winter, Trump had promised the Iranian people that the tyrants who ruled them would be gone. But now? “I never cared about regime change,” he told reporters, waving away his failure to achieve a primary strategic goal by denying that it had ever been a goal at all.
I recommend you read the article in full it's a fascinating portrait of Trump's narcissism.

He mentioned gender reassignment infront of those kids and the operation (or his idea of what the operation involved is)

Ah, is that why Texas Paul on YT was talking about "what is a woman" in his recent short?

(For the record, TP is very anti-Repugs)

This, in a nutshell. She is utterly bestial but comes out of this smelling of roses. It's all beyond me ...

I wouldn't say she smells of roses, she simply smells better than Trump (who, by all accounts smells of full nappies).
It's a very low bar she's stepping over.

Cat fight incoming: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgqj77909jpo

Trump said on Saturday that the prime minister was "doing poorly in Italy with her level of popularity".

He also accused her of not supporting US efforts to prevent Iran "from obtaining or developing a nuclear weapon".

In a statement on Instagram, Meloni said Trump's "constant, unprovoked attacks" were "senseless".

"As for my popularity, being your friend has certainly not helped it, nor does it depend on my relationship with you," said Meloni.

"My popularity is none of your concern. I suggest you focus on yours," she added.

Opposing joint enterprise between countries is in the DNA of nationalists so of course they fall out with each other. When your slogan is 'America (or whatever your nation is) First,' there's a built in problem with that

Very surprised the people of LA showed solidarity with the orange turd by booing the Iranian anthem before their Belgium match. Just like the rest of the odd little species that call themselves Americans. Say one thing and do another. "We don't know why Trump has taken us into this war." "The Iranian anthem, is that I hear? Boooo!!!"

Apparently it’s also one of the biggest Iranian populations outside of Iran.

They’ve also been cheered well since so who knows.

I see Trump's on to "vandals cut a 350ft gash in the reflecting pool with a knife". The evidence is "ask the National Park Service".

I know I've said it before, but I wonder how long this can carry on.

It will last until his supporters admit they were mugged off by him.
It's taking a while because people are sluggish about accepting that they've been outwitted by a moron with dementia and would sooner pretend it's all fine and just blame the media instead.

Something which will never happen.
