I sort of get the sentiment but like I would add caveats and I certainly wouldn’t post it during an election campaign.

Indeed, voters don't really like politicians who 'tell it like it is' beyond abusing immigrants.
It is an interesting question as to whether it even matters if the human race died off. Probably not as long as we record the entire history of human endeavor for passing aliens to enjoy.
