I was about to write in response to the sick note thing that politicians often come up with failed policies elsewhere and rehash them.

I didn’t think someone would come up with failed rehashed policies from the Weimar in the very next post.

What utter pillockry. The chance of getting a GP-equivalent appointment for your sick note within the statutory 3-days is virtually zero. For reasons of age and a Kafkaesque Brexit anomaly, I am privately insured, yet I would still be hard-pressed to achieve that. Everyone else will be queuing down the street for a further half-day off work and another virus.

The weirdo, undiscovered Thunderbird that is Wagenknecht is unlikely to achieve the required 5% in this autumn's state elections, so even the legendarily lazy German press aren't bothering their collective arse with this story.

The toxic Weidel (AfD) has meanwhile refused to share any platform with her, despite their shared admiration for Putin.
