It doesn't mean that. He'll win easily, like David Davis did when he did the same thing. He won by 8,000 when Reform were polling a fair bit lower than they are now (even though there will be relative few extra converts available compared with other seats). The Tories were a clear second, and got more than Labour, Green, Lib Dem put together. Even if all the last lot vote Binface, Farage will win.

The activists are there to get the Farage score up as high as it can be.
