34 candidates in a by-election is apparently a UK record. I have neither the time or the inclination to check out who all these people are but I'll bet that, amongst the jokers, there are some right-wingers pissed off with Farage and the lack of a Restore candidate who'll chisel some votes off the cunt. Which is nice.

I saw a news report just after the by-election was brought about stating that the cost of a deposit for by-elections is £5k, unlike GE's when the deposit is £500. The point of the report was that it would likely just be Farage v Binface (following the withdrawal of the main parties), as obviously £5k is a lot of money to risk not getting back. It was on either BBC or ITV (I think the latter) so I didn't bother looking up if it was true. I now realise they got that mixed up with the mayoral elections, it's a £5k deposit for those.
British Democrats in there. That Kai Stephens in the above list (Oboogie's post) is a tweed suit wearing 21 year old fascist who doesn't like fascists being called fascists and thinks his former hero Farage isn't fascist enough.
The link below on him is Eastern Daily Press. There is currently an item in their top 10 news stories about a bloke claiming £50k benefits for his dead mother. He's white English and one of the 3 comments remarked how quiet the comment section is. I was thinking exactly the same thing moments earlier at a lack of comments on my local news site's page regarding a ne'er-do-well in my neck of the woods. Time and time again there are a lack of comments on white scumbags but an almighty pile-on for the relatively few occasions it's a non-white scumbag. Obviously the tediously incorrect "The usual suspects" gets trotted out several times.
And what does that do for half of these oddballs, like if you were the "Scaffolding of Clacton" Party I would get it but is there much money in one of the oddballs who ran alongside a bin and Farage.
Farage launches his campaign, 80 miles from Clacton to an audience of loyalists who are already nailed on voters.
This is Corbyn levels of incompetence.
