Zia is the Terminator. He's not even Arnee and the Terminators (a hilarious parody by "Radio One's Steve Wright").

Do we get to see this polling, Zia or does it go to a different school?
I've seen the polls that now have Reform behind the Tories and Farage's net approval ratings on -44.

I think it's a Lord Ashcroft poll of Reform members a couple of months back. Yusef is kind of popular in the party but it's not numbers to crow about. He's on 22% whilst Tice is on 21% and 19% don't know.

It's the same style as that idiot from Brighton who said he was going to destroy Keir Starmer.

If I was a comedy producer, I'd commission a parody of this, with Zia the Terminater. Parody of a parody, aren't I clever?

For younger viewers, Radio One DJs were bigger than the artists whose records they played. They used to make novelty records which they played themselves and got into the charts. If you think this is bad, you should see Dave Lee Travis and Paul Burnett's parody of Convoy.

While his Radio One career was in the rear view mirror, no discussion of DJ novelty records is complete without Mike Read's "UKIP Calypso".

In the interests of good taste, I won't post a link but here is the chorus

Oh yes – when we take charge
And the new prime minister is Farage
We can trade with the world again
When Nigel is at Number 10

And if you are wondering, yes he did do a cod-Caribbean accent.

Oh God. That sounds like Reggae Like It Used To Be by Paul Nicholas, except more offensive.

In latter day Radio One days, Read had a go at serious, Myfanwy, a ballad sung by David Essex, based on a Betjeman poem. He also did a cover of Dizzy, which I recall from children's TV, which was less serious.
