Kemi Badenoch has called defectors who left for Reform “some of the most dishonest people” she has ever met, as she ruled out allowing “drama queens” to return to the party.

Speaking at the Edinburgh festival fringe, the Conservative party leader again ruled out any prospect of an election deal with Nigel Farage’s Reform UK, insisting there would be no coalition between the parties.

“Reform has people who left the Conservative party, some of the most dishonest people I have ever met in my entire life,” Badenoch told event host Iain Dale on Saturday...

Being Leader of the current Conservative Party will make her something of an expert on dishonest people. If she thinks Jenrick, Yusuf and co are some of the most dishonest people she's met they must be really fucking terrible.

If a Con-Reform pact after the next GE is the only way the keys to No 10 are handed to honest Kemi then what? 'This is the verdict the British people have handed to us and we must put petty party squabbles aside for the good of the country...'

Burnham doesn't appear to do personal abuse of opponents. I'd like to think that is a winning approach with the our thoughful lofty electorate. But I doubt it so at least appoint a chief bruiser, Andy.

I do think it would be better in backbench MPs and the Labour Party chairman attacked Farage rather than cabinet ministers because when cabinet ministers attack him it just makes him look like the leader of the opposition and a potential PM.
