I fell to wondering just who first came up with the bright idea of cable-tying unauthorised cheap nylon flags onto every possible lamp-post, and why. I dare say it may have been that utter wanker with the man-bun.

Why? Because it is without a doubt the most moronically stupid activity that you can imagine.

We know what the motivation behind it is. It’s an unambiguously racist provocation. The “Raise the Colours” group that is most active in the practice also concerns itself with trips across the English Channel to harass and confront asylum seekers in camps. There are associated activities : murder, assault, harassment, road traffic offences and so forth. “Raise the Colours” has even monetised a sideline with a website that encourages simpleton supporters to donate cash , allegedly to enable the flag wankers to purchase more cheapo flags and pay to hire more “cherry picker” hoists . The simpletons are asked to believe that they are funding merely innocent and totally spontaneous expressions of patriotism and national pride, not orchestrated hate-baiting provocations .

Birmingham City Council is facing a bill of £2.6 million to get the now raggedy nylon rectangles down off its lamp posts. That is, of course, £2.6 million of taxpayers’ cash.

And it remains the most fatuously idiotic, fuckwitted idea that anybody has ever had. Even Baldrick would reject it as idiotic wank.

I suspect the involvement of Brittun Furst's Paul Golding. It's in the same vein as some of his previous stunts - superficially harmless, very sinister underneath* - and ties into the hardline Unionism of some of his partners.

*For example, Jayda Fransen started off as 'mother concerned about child molesters', something that's a genuine concern and can't be easily dismissed. Then she moved into 'particularly the brown ones', and that was that. Golding meanwhile made a big thing of his goons scouring the streets of London, offering hot meals to homeless people. Lovely, right? Until you notice they specify the meals are hot pork (and yes I know, dead pig =/= kryptonite to Muslims) and realise his intent was to note who didn't partake, and visit them later to apply a kicking.
