News and announcements about all things Mailwatch

I certainly remember when Mailwatch relied entirely upon external image hosting: on another forum I frequent it's the number of directory entries in its database that's the limiting factor.

Please. Let's not muddy any waters here. The limits are purely due to the physically available space on the server.

Have there been issues with the site today? I've found that it wouldn't load on several occasions but a tracert seemed okay.

Had issues getting on for most of the day, but I suspect it may be due to my work's VPN T&Cs changing.

I had the same. I was wondering if Paul Dacre had been wandering round data centers with a can of petrol.

Glad you arrived back. Did you get the mass mail?
Yep, that’s how I found you. I did a Whois and saw the domain was expired a few days ago.

Very glad I thought to check my junk mail, as the email about the move had ended up in there!

Good work to all concerned who have been involved in the ‘rewiring’ 😁

Aaargh!
Lots of log-in issues - I just wrote this message and it logged me out when I tried to send it! I'm having to log in every time I refresh a page or try a reply.

The same here. I've set an exception in Firefox to allow all cookies for this domain and I need to set uBlock Origin to disable itself - but I seem to have had a return of logging in then being told my login is invalid, before logging in (successfully) a second time.

ETA: I can't understand why a change of domain has made this site suddenly misbehave so badly - I tried to post something, then edit it, and had to log in four times in the meantime.

I'll try it on Edge later.

Good to know that the new Quality-Filter is working...

I've now lost the 'reply' option (quick reply only) and the little asterisk which connects to the latest post in any thread has gone on hols.
