I'm witnessing a rise in the sciencey end of the grift market turning their ire in gravity.

I suppose it's the natural conclusion of these wedge arguments. "Aaah, if we can't trust the scientists over this, then what else are they making up?".

War on intelligence, ignore evidence, truthiness over truth, everything's subjective, all opinions are valid, "it just feels right", etc.

a) I'm elbow deep in deadline stuff.
b) It's stuff that appears very intermittently on YouTube, which I assume is some kind of grifter's fishing expedition, so not something I subscribe to or bookmark. - I imagine the pop up nature of the videos is to harvest subscriber details and then disappear before utterly discredited.

Labour missed out to said Independents at a by election last week, the Tories were about 700 votes behind in the seat they were defending.

I suggest doing a web search for "Gravity Deniers" or "Gravity Denial", both of which returned me useful results on this modern trend/campaign.
The content is necessarily vacuous, as its difficult to rebut the deliberately vague claims of the deniers.

Apologies, I'm conscious this sounds a lot like "do your own research".

The latest filing temporarily halts all proceedings in the Connecticut case, including a scheduled hearing examining how the families would receive the money and what assets could be included.

It could further delay payments as the case plays out in bankruptcy courts. It is unclear how much money the families will receive.

Following the filing, a lawyer representing the families said "the bankruptcy system does not protect anyone who engages in intentional and egregious attacks on others".

"Like every other cowardly move Alex Jones has made, this bankruptcy will not work," Chris Mattei said in a statement.

So he's trying to kick the can further down the road, and hang onto whatever he can. Coward.
