No. Maybe. Ernest Bevin wouldn't have liked it, after all they were drafting conscripts into the mines, but that was partly due to miners volunteering to fight. I don't think he would have been conscripted into the forces.

With Anderson there's always a maybe. It's unlikely, but there's always a get-out that he might not be lying.

The story of Lee Anderson's grandad has as much internal consistency as a Liz Jones column.

A few people with European Jewish ancestry are less than happy about the implication that their ancestors were cowards for not staying and fighting Hitler and Stalin.

Many people with less than Aryan ancestry should reflect on where Lee's mates might turn their attention when they get fed up with demonizing Muzzlims.

Of course we don't actually see the dart hit the bullseye, we just hear the footsteps of the person taking out the dart he threw (the bullseye dart having been added earlier).

Everything they do is phony.

Hell, him throwing the dart, single shot, lands wherever, he says "OK, I couldn't hit the bullseye, but Jeremy's budget does!".

Natural, self-deprecating, even a bit funny. Hope they don't read this.

A four-pack of Stella pints and 4x400ml of Strongbow. Reaching out to the snakebite demographic.

I'm disappointed they couldn't get a Union Flag and a photo of our dear, departed Queen in to the shot though. Not much of a patriot.

If you’re going to fake it, don’t put the dart *absolutely* dead centre of the bullseye. He’s not fucking Hawkeye.

They don't have a sense of humour that isn't derived from a seventies sitcom about pooftahs and coons,

That Boat is probably about £1300 - £1500 per week. So not exactly affordable for a family on a low income.

I bet the kids love that. A weekend on a boat in Wales when they could be in Benidorm. Somebody's really won the lottery of life there.
