Frost explains how he came into politics ‘in a strange way.’ No one with any talent, knowledge or integrity want the posts he fills. He admits to still being thin skinned, really? I’d be mortified if I was caught out talking bollocks every week and would hide under the sheets not come back for more.

Which parliamentary hopeful is going to lose out to thick, arrogant, stupid, pig-headed wanker Frosty? And why would anyone want this walking turd as their MP?

Boris Johnson’s chief Brexit negotiator, David Frost, has confirmed his bid to become an MP, with his name placed on the list of Conservative candidates for the next general election.

Lord Frost had earlier suggested he was ready to drop his peerage in hope of securing a Commons seat, but only if he could secure a safe constituency.

On Sunday he confirmed that Tory officials had accepted his bid to join the party’s candidate list, but said he was not yet linked to a specific seat...

Knowing Frosty it’s words again and nothing more however someone did suggest if Frosty thinks Starmer is going reform the Lords then maybe it’s his get out, even if he believes the coalition hype the LDs will more than likely go along with a PR second chamber.

And if they do keep appointments of Lords it’s going be the political ones that Starmer may well go after.

Frosty has just helpful shat, very explicitly, all over Gove at the loons conference.
The right thing to do is to reverse the powers of government in our everyday lives. The politicisation of every activity and every choice. Let’s not forget what that means. The endless hectoring. The constant suggestion that the government has the right to dictate how you behave when it has socialised the costs. The dangerous and counter-productive intrusion into private property - as Michael Gove’s renters bill will do this morning.
The idea that a privately rented flat shouldn't be regulated is a new one on me.

As an aside, I haven't noticed any shortage of politicisation of ordinary activity at this conference. Having kids, setting up businesses, marriage- all been politicised.

Imagine if someone high up in the Labour party similarly shat all over a proposal from another high-ranking party MP? Most of the British media would have thought Christmas had come early.

Crace on Frost:
He’s the least self-aware man on the planet. Brexit was the anti-establishment revolution. Except it was led by the establishment.

He was proud of the deal he had negotiated even if it obviously had been a sham and wasn’t working. He was a member of the dispossessed. Though he had been in government and been given a peerage by a corrupt prime minister for failing. And now expects to be fast-tracked as a Tory MP. All while saying how the least capable people were promoted in government.
