If we are going to have a thread with such lofty targets, Rees Mogg has to be the ultimate prize.

My dear, dear uncle, who was bobbing up and down on the telly when Chris Patten took the bath (sic), has invited me over for the evening.

As soon as the GE is called, I will consider booking myself a Eurostar berth for the fun and games.

Liz Truss, not the wild card you may think if the LDs fall back. Labour may wish to reciprocate in Surrey Heath, a much taller order to oust Gove but we can dream.

Different Shaun Bailey. This one is an MP in West Bromwich.

Think Purslove is likely in a lot of trouble. Lots of the swing to Tory in places like Corby has been over Brexit, where Labour voters have seen it as a route to protectionism. Even if Brexit hadn't made them poorer, they might not be particularly impressed by Badenoch and co telling them "Here's more great free trade for you!"

Christ, from Gillian Shepherd (a competent Education Secretary with prior professional experience who was brought in to clear up John Patten's mess) to Liz Truss.
