The Mail have sacked Wootton.

Wonder if GB News are going to do the same. I find the Paul Marshall Telegraph explanation quite persuasive. Marshall's not going to muck up his chances for the sake of Wootton's free speech.

Saw an hilarious post from Fox early in which he basically said he would rather clean toilets for the rest of his life than lose his dignity. There's only two things wrong with that statement firstly he's never done a days manual work in his life and secondly he lost his dignity a long time ago.

They don't care, do they? I wonder if Paul Marshall's going to step in here.

Go Khan, says Jim Davidson. Will Sadiq come back from this?

Murders under Khan last year- 112

Homiciides in last year of Bozo in London- 111

Which I think would make the rate lower under Khan last year.

Remind me, did Davidson call for Johnson to go following the 2011 riots?

I suspect Davidson hasn't realised the victim is a young black girl.

Given the investigation into Esther and Phil "interview" Jeremy, this may fall into the same category?

Just wasted 15 minutes watching Laurence Fox giving his half-hearted non-apology. He has not changed his views or opinions but he agrees that he could have used better words to express his thoughts. He also gave more background on his fallout with Dan Wootton claiming that he has been supporting him in the wake of the claims made about him by By-Line media. But now he feels Wootton has thrown him under the bus. He also very disappointed that staff at GB News have not threatened to down tools to support him. Apparently members the mob are much better at defending each other hence why Gary Lineker avoid the sack.

He wants people to feel sorry for him because this is the second time he has been cancelled and he has got two sons to bring up.

He received a supporting Tweet from Fox News’s Meghan Kelly. Perhaps he’ll get an offer and fuck off to the US. Fox on Fox wearing a tweed suit and monocle.

From tonight's Popbi-atch, it looks like Mr. Branning's "apology" to Ana the following morning of the incident was just a full slurry tank worth of shite, not surprisingly...

...However, there was a little more going on behind the scenes. Even though on screen he might have just looked hopelessly out of his depth, the reason Wootton has incurred the wrath of his bosses is because he was repeatedly and actively ignoring multiple management commands.

From the start of Fox's rant, the voice in Dan's earpiece was telling him to stop Fox, to push back and apologise – but he tuned it out. Then one of the senior bods drafted an apology for him to read out after the item – and he skipped past it on the autocue.

Then the top brass were on the phone to the studio, insisting Dan apologise on air – and he just didn't.

Can Fox be soaked in aniseed and torn apart by a pack of hounds live on air, please?

Story from Popbitch:
>> Dan and out <<
Ignoring is bliss

Dan Wootton's dramatic downfall these past 48 hours has drawn some fitting comparisons to Al Capone getting done for tax evasion.

All of a sudden he's persona non grata at GB News – not because of the multiple, well-sourced allegations of serious sexual misconduct and workplace harassment that have clouded him for months; but because he sat grinning gormlessly, like a wallaby getting its balls tickled, as one of his guests delivered a hugely sexist rant unchecked.

However, there was a little more going on behind the scenes.
