Gary Kemp's not right wing though I believe Tony Hadley is a Tory.
I've seen a few rightwingers adopt the "used to be left wing when it was about miners, but now it's all women and foreigners" stance

Until you tell them your interest is workplace and economic fairness and not culture war. Then they'd rather talk about golliwog bans and too many gays on Doctor Who.

Hadley's definitely a Tory although their music is definitely yuppie-era white soul aimed at aspirationals.

That lot have had an excuse not to vote Labour ever since they bought their council houses. The Looney Left became Kinnock the Windbag and although they briefly thought Blair was alright, since 2005 it's been a combination of illegal wars, immigrants, Marxism and wokery.

It's also rather pathetic. 80 years ago, a country riven with class barriers and discrepancies, recovering from a massive economic depression, built an alliance of over 50 countries and took on (and played a major part in defeating) two of the most technologically advanced militaries the world had to that point seen. In the aftermath it built a social care system aimed at preventing the inequalities that led to so many years of slaughter, and assisted with the building of international organisations to do so globally.

And now, what do his "new few" aim to do? Sack some HR people and stop rainbow flags being flown from a handful of buildings.

While we're on the subject of right-wing twats not nowin nuffink about the proud history they profess to luv so much, they should be told the truth about the European Charter of Human Rigbts. It was the pet project of their great hero, Sir Winston Churchill, who had his lackeys travelling around Europe trying to get forrin governments to sign up to it.

By shitting on the ECHR they are shitting all over Churchill's great legacy. Which is something that doesn't surprise me at all, because the right are overwhelmingly poorly educated and downright stupid.

Yeahbbut it was meant to be about showing the uncivilised Frogs and Krauts how to behave, not so that they could push us around. We won the fahkin' waahr, after all.

Littlejohn on plans to make immigrants learn English - usual drill. Too little, too late. What about the grannies in Leicester and Southall gibbering in scribble and the young men of military age staying in Lenny Henry hotels? Yvette Cooper's a cow. Didn't need qualifications in my day. I'm a thick cunt and proud of it.

Bonus - Littlejohn with a Grumpy Old Men-style piece on how air travel is stressful, expensive, and designed to exploit customers. And how airport security is far too hard for nice white people, and they still let the wogs buy tickets:

Has he got a companion article about his arrival; foreign customs are either like the gestapo or dozy daygos who take bribes. Foreign food was muck, hotel full of peasants from up north, staff didn't speak proper English.

I'm also in the grumpy old codgers' club when it comes to airports. I can no longer get excited enough about anywhere that means having to use them.
