I think that that's her raisin d'être ...
The best bit of this is that it was entirely unintentional as I posted from my phone so was the victim/beneficiary of an autocorrect 😄
Hang on, I bamboozled myself here. I thought Sultana wasn’t her surname and I’d messed up at not catching an autocorrect, but it *is* her surname so I was OK anyway!

I blame Starmer or something.
I did wonder, I checked your post three times but couldn't see what was wrong with it.

t took me a long time to learn that her surname doesn't start with a Z. I think I may have been influenced by her being Zarah rather than Sarah but mainly I just couldn't believe it really was Sultana.

The problem I have with this and it’s already rearing its head is the party will stand for everything I believe in type nonsense.

At least you can see why Jez had the sense not to start a party himself sooner. He knew full well not even his best mates would join.

To be honest, I think we could have worse happen than Diane Abbot joining a new party.

I'm sure I spotted some Jez fans being indignant BTL that the story wasn't true, including our old friend Mr Proudfoot.

I'm actually impressed someone from Jez's team did leak it and put Sultana back in her box.

Thinking for a minute, did they really believe Jez would do something that was approaching hard work?

Sultana has crossed a line and become a sort of cartoonish caricature of a knee-jerk, placard-waving, “right-on”, look-at-my-fucking-conscience Trot. It’s almost laughable.

I wonder what actually happened here. Did Sultana misunderstand and think Jezza had invited her to be co-leader with him or did she make her announcement in an attempt to steamroller Jez into action?
I'm not sure which is dafter; Jez's ego would never allow shared leadership and action really isn't his style, he much prefers criticising the doings of others to pulling his own finger out.
We may never know the truth.

Corbyn's always been very glacial to be honest, especially if its a hard decision.

Is this really the limit of engagement with a nationally significant piece of transport policy happening locally? The Facebook post on it was the same as this, so it isn't just a question of space.

I'm not talking about her driving the vehicle, I find that pretty engaging. Shouldn't there be, I dunno, something about what it actually is, and why it's potentially good? (essentially, if it can be made to work, it'll be very cheap to set up and run)

Though the question has been asked - what happens when you want to get at the existing utilities? Probably easier than digging through conventional tram lines, but I would guess that utilities would tend to be re-routed in bigger schemes.

Um, er. good point.

My guess is that they would "future proof" utilities before they laid any track on top of it. Then hope that any later repairs are easy and quick.
