For the avoidance of doubt, I am not advocating the assassination of Nigel Farage. I was merely musing on how I’d feel about it were such a thing to come to pass.

I wouldn't like the probable consequences, but I wouldn't feel as though we lost anything of value if it were to happen.

Here we are: The day when Daniel "Evil Paddington" Hannan predicted parades and fireworks.

I don't see many celebrating, I don't see any of the key instigators standing up to say "I did that".

Even the BBC has taken a day off platforming their star performer "Novochok" Nigel (off of the Ukips).

I'm sure he will be back tomorrow- complaining that Vinyl shops have canceled the Wurzels - or something.

Someone else would have taken his place. Farage has been the effect, not the cause.

I don’t think I agree with that. Farage has been the principal motivator behind David Cameron’s disastrous decision to set up a referendum. Behind the major part of a despicable, mendacious referendum campaign. Behind a fascist wanker’s decision to murder Jo Cox MP. Behind the trashing of Britain’s reputation in Europe. Behind the economic suicide that was a consequence of Brexit. Behind an increase in race hate triggered by his referendum and his lies about immigration and asylum. He is very much the cause.

As for someone taking his place, well, yes. But probably someone without his infernal and bewildering charisma. Can you think of who? Tice ? Widdecombe ?

Yeah, I think there's a reason (apart from ego) why Farage has done all the media for about 15 years. The back up is so weak, he can't even trust them to do proper shadowing. Tice can sound vaguely pro-business, Anderson gets a general "proper working man" role, and the bloke who pushed his girlfriend over is never seen.

God knows what Farage does with Sarah Pochin. She looks like she could sign up with Rupert Lowe.

Speak now or forever hold your peace

Congratulations to GB News presenter Nana Akua, who had her engagement party this past weekend.

It was a real riot of a bash, with some big dogs like Dan Wootton attending, but sadly one person was missing.

Bonnie Blue had been hastily taken off the guest-list at the last minute after Nigel Farage refused to attend the same do as her.

Bonnie had originally copped an invite because Nana had interviewed her a few times on the weekend show.

Whatever happened to freedom of expression, Nige?
For those not familiar with Ms. Blue, she's a p*** actress with a bit of a notorious reputation who recently got kicked off from Only Fans. Only right she'd be GBeebies fodder.

I thought Dan Wooton had been kicked out of the tent.

On account of his extra-curricular hobbies.

Farage has been given way too much media airtime today and the media seem to be treating him in the say way in which they treated Boris Johnson whereby you hear Farage's reply to a question but you don't actually hear what question he was actually asked. This means he can virtually say what he wants regardless of what he was actually asked.

I live in hope that future generations will look back and wonder why a minor politician was given so much attention for so long.
