I honestly can't think of another politician's kids* who have been so closely tied into their parents' career/image/branding. OK, Mark and Carol Thatcher wouldn't have got their starts in arms dealing/lightweight TV presenting if it wasn't for their mum's position and their dad's iffy postcolonial connections. James Major wouldn't have hooked up with Emma Noble if he'd been the son of a south London bank manager.
