Not just rubbish but spectacularly inept. The Greens are seeking to raise lots of taxes, so why don't they just say they'd seek to be relatively prudent in terms of borrowing while spending more? "Spend and tax" is an MMT way of looking at things, either profound or vacuous depending on your point of view. Either way, there are issues with MMT for poorer people. Restraining inflation is likely to involve a lot of regressive consumption taxes.
