Oliver has gone mad, it's the only explanation.
A PM of the UK endorsed GBNews as a leading truth teller, are you suggesting Liz Truss is potty?

Met Police ‘fluffiness’ exposed as force announces woke name change
The Met Police is facing a fresh bout of criticism after their decision to change the name of their ‘Viper Squad’ unit over fears it is “too aggressive”.
Operation Viper, set up in 2016, will have its named changed to the Proactive Firearms Team...
https://www.gbnews.com/news/met-police- ... oke-police
A bloke who is glad he's already got his pension and is no longer in a position to be sacked said:
Ex-Metropolitan Police detective Peter Bleksley says the move is a cause for concern, as it has exposed a “fluffy” underbelly in the force...
...Speaking on GB News, he said “The Metropolitan Police are so fluffy in 2023, and this is just another example.
“Where is this all going to end? It’s opened a can of worms because obviously the Met Police have the Specialist branch, surely this is too elitist and we need the average branch?”...
That last paragraph quoted above is typical of the intellectual level of those on the right. They understand nothing, and talk utter bollocks, always taking things to their illogical conclusion.
They don't need a name change, they need a culture change.
But, yeah. A change of name is a clear indication that the Met are all fluffy and woke now.

Sounds like a load of toxic males boasting about their hardness.

The new name, Proactive Firearms Team, isn't "fluffy" anyway. It's a "what it says on the tin" name, which I thought was what everybody wanted.
It's inevitable that teams like this get involved in controversial situations. Next time that happens, I reckon it's probably better to be called the Proactive Firearms Team than the Viper Squad, but that's just me.
Sounds like a reheating of the old "Police Service?! How politically correct! Mustn't scare criminals!" bollocks.

Because when I think of the Met, the first word that comes to mind is "fluffy".

“Won’t it rhyme with diaper, sarge?”
“For the last time, we’re not having Python Squad.”

The only thing I’ve had confirmed by the This Morning kerfuffle, is that Eamonn Holmes is a bitter, nasty, little shitweasel

He was bitter and twisted when 'This Morning' gave him the elbow a couple of years ago and this episode has allowed him to exact his revenge on the show. He keeps accusing Schofield as a bully but Eammon seems more than capable of being a bully at times.

Neil Oliver's been at a conference, which sounds as shit as you'd expect. Great arguments like this-

Aside from that being the shittest argument ever, I'm pretty sure that if you're staggering across the Sahara, dying of thirst, and run into a shoemaker, they'll more likely give you some water than measure you up for a new set of brogues.

Ha ha.
My doctor advises vaccination, but she's not an "immunisation expert". Actually, maybe that's bad too, according to these people. But I'll take her over GB News presenters.

Great stuff here. I thought the joke was the Day Today style graphics. Then I thought it was the woman wittering. Then I thought it was Eamonn belching. But it gets better, I promise.

I image Holmes had a right hissy fit at some blameless person after “not being told he was on air”….how longs the twat been presenting ?
