Sure the name has nothing to do with its inclusion.

Briefly and broadly: Wooton has been collecting footage of colleagues, celebrities and rivals engaged in sexual activity for uncertain purposes*. As well as directly having it filmed, he's been using sock accounts on dating and social sites to solicit pics and video.

I'm sure it is one or the other. Also as shifty as fuck. Is Inspector Knacker interested? Or are GBN's powerful friends extending a forcefield?

The Eye had something a while ago, but a certain other gossip site has said more, apparently.

If this goes anywhere, the line will be "where was the compassion for Dan Wootton, eh?" Huw Edwards and Philip Schofield of course weren't giving it large about other people as Dan was.

Has Dolan tried the Mandelson mushy peas anecdote out on the lads? Nothing shows your a provincial man of the people than jokes about guacamole.

Don’t we usually have a sceptical laugh at celebs hiding in the Priory for ‘treatment’ when they’re caught with cocaine and hookers?

Ozzy Osbourne spoke of the spiral of depression he encountered after his sacking from Black Sabbath. Holed in a hotel room for three months on booze, drugs, pizza and goodness knows what else.
“You must have been in great pain,” interviewer Jonathan Ross suggested.
“No, I was having a fucking great time.”

Hope Huw has a good lawyer to cheer him up.

MP David Warburton looked like a man suffering from a great deal of mental anguish but put those thoughts aside for a chance to bash a Tory who might be related to the world’s shittiest bread company. Room for me to be better than that in future.

Dear Lord, I wish I'd not asked now.

Can't we send these Antipodean cunts back from whence they came?

Start on Natalie Imbruglia and you’ll have me to deal with.

Sadly for Dan there’s no Murdoch press in New Zealand. Don’t know if that has any bearing on Winston Peters polling 2% in an election after hiring Farage and Banks to work their magic.

I was more thinking media types...

She's known for her acting and singing*. Think that makes her a media type.

*I love listening to her greatest hit.

The context sounds different on the original version of Torn with a male vocalist.

According to reports, Huw Edwards and his wife're getting their media advice from Andy Coulson.

That's a name I hadn't heard in a while, and hadn't missed.

I do rather like a Negroni. In fact, it is the only cocktail I have drunk in the last twenty years, albeit not that regularly.

I like them even more now.

They were undergoing a bit of a resurgence/moment in the sun about six-eight months ago, so absolutely bang on time for them to be referenced as an indication of being "elite".

That must be a joke. He’ll be grassing Edwards to the Sun up for a tidy sum or a job.
Last heard him mentioned in Alan Partridge’s intro to a report on prisons; ‘Norman Stanley Fletcher, the Wests, Andy Coulson, everyone has their favourite prisoner.’

Nope. Reported by multiple sources:

Ex-News of the World editor Andy Coulson is advising Huw Edwards’ wife Vicky Flind on response to Sun story
Coulson served five months of an 18-month prison term imposed in 2014 after he was convicted of conspiring to intercept voicemails at the now-defunct Sunday tabloid.

He has since set up a crisis management consultancy, using his own experience of a high-profile scandal to offer “discreet counsel” to public figures in trouble.
Flind, a TV producer who has worked as an editor on ITV’s politics show Peston since 2018, knew Coulson and reached out to him for support, i understands.

Coulson may have scores to settle with News Corp for throwing him to the wolves so this might be a fun appointment to watch.
