Johnson will drop Frost the minute he's fed up with the heat from the EU. Nobody cares about EU-style vet checks.
That would mean no independent trade deals and agriculture is one of the few areas country’s want on the table in order to do a trade deal with the UK beyond cut and paste EU and WTO terms.
Do they mean that trade deal stuff? I get the feeling that it's just there to look like Brexit is forward looking. Anything signed with Australia or the US is good enough for political purposes.

I was just thinking how straight talking Brexiter, Liz Kershaw, was doing. She's gone uncharacteristically quiet on Brexit. Just a reference to new jobs in Grimsby since February. In Feb she bravely flagged up the problem of musicians touring the EU. Couple of people BTL remind her this came out of Brexit. She doesn't reply.

Well, the G7's gone so well, the UK are pursuing the winning strategy of leaking/making up comments by Macron to start a row.

Daniel Hannan is still a liar then. Theresa May was brought down by the EU failing to agree the UK could be in the Customs Union?
And the UK was asking for a much more substantial break than Switzerland. I suppose the first bit about Cameron might have some truth to it, though the cost of that would be every other populist goon across Europe trying to pull a Cameron.

Johnson must have known for months that Northern Ireland would be a major bone of contention at the G7 but seems to have done nothing in advance to try and broker some kind of deal that could at least knocked the issue into the long grass. I can only conclude that Johnson is happy to have a mini trade war with the EU because it will take attention away from the fact that lockdown is set to drag on for at least a couple of weeks more than Johnson had promised.

I think lockdown postponement is probably irrelevant. He wants this trade war bollocks anyway.

I think it's more like him shouting "Stop going on about northern fucking Ireland, I'll fucking sort something, fuck off the lot of you, Carrie, suck me off" whenever it was raised.

New culprit for Brexit disaster found. The Code Napoleon tradition.

Didn’t know Mary Kenny was still alive. She was writing reactionary bollocks in the Mail in the 80s. Imagined differences between English common law and the Napoleonic code has long been a favourite subject for Brexit pub bores.

Unfathomable how Hoey’s head works. Even the DUP don’t say anything that crazy.

Anyone fancy applying? Plenty of shameless hacks out there who will. Just look at Frost. The thread makes for amusing reading.

I would have thought that it was the Prime Minister's job...

That's why it's being advertised. We haven't got a Prime Minister. We have an incompetent unintelligent oaf bumbling around blaming everybody else for not doing his job properly.

Bozo does a fine job of keeping Brexit fanatics on board with optimism and slogans. They’re assuming the other 70 percent of the population will be asking questions. Johnson and Frost have no idea what the answers are.

Blame the manager, its not his job to be as confused as Bruce. Joking aside, I naively believed like Dickinson (before May's red lines speech) they're might be a Swiss type compromise to avoid this lunacy.

I'd lost touch with the way that the media have marginlized the soft brexiteers who wanted to retain some semblance of sanity.
The MO appears to be:
* Hard brexit nutjobs - proper patriots looking after our farmers, fishers and pthers with proper jobs.
* Remoaners - the great satan.
* Soft brexiteers - no such creature exists.
