Didn't someone on here say that a lot of East African Asians were brought over from India to run the colonies and were therefore convinced of their own superiority?

They did: can't remember who though.

To illustrate a point, have a look at "Brown Car Guy" on YT, and the comments below.

Ugandan Asians are a more visible minority than others because of the high profile way they arrived, and the fact that they've produced quite a few high achievers. My guess is that they're more Tory voting than other groups, but I'm sure they aren't that exceptional in terms of their attitudes to immigration. I think Galloway is maybe a good indication of where the communities he targets are. To say the least, the pitch isn't "let's have more asylum seekers".

He did, some of these allegations were in the book.
Here he is challenging Farage about the allegations on Channel 4 News 12 years ago.

Ah, ok. He gave a rather generous verdict of Farage not being racist, I recall.

Here's Channel 4's report about Farage's schoolboy racism from 12 years ago.
Reform does have ethnic minority voters, a mix of ex-Tory small business owners afraid of Labour and an element of former migrants who want to pull up the drawbridge behind them.

Tice going out calling them liars is not a great look.

There's a lot of "How can they remember what was said fifty years ago?" commenting. I can certainly remember insults and bullying from longer ago than that, almost word for word.

On a similar note, I observe that two Farage friendly hosts at LBC, Nick Ferrari and Ali Miraj, seem to have given up trying to defend him on this one.

One of those unsavoury old BBC shows had a phrase for Nigel's misfortunes.
