Isn't he already? Every media outlet hangs on his every word.

By contrast - and with apologies to HMHB - "if Jesus came to Earth today/they'd crucify him straight away/upon a cross of MDF/and they'd use No Need For Nails"

America is finished. He is far from being the cause, he is simply the last act.

And then there's his fucking kids.

I don’t think they would last long, they are only there because Daddy is in the room. They are simply scamming government dollars

I honestly can't think of another politician's kids* who have been so closely tied into their parents' career/image/branding. OK, Mark and Carol Thatcher wouldn't have got their starts in arms dealing/lightweight TV presenting if it wasn't for their mum's position and their dad's iffy postcolonial connections. James Major wouldn't have hooked up with Emma Noble if he'd been the son of a south London bank manager. Euan Blair wouldn't have ended up running a murky service provision company valued either as a hell of a lot, or nothing for tax purposes, if etc etc.

But all of them tried something other than just being "[politician]'s kid".

*Even George W Bush tried his hand at various things before heading for a safe seat and accelerated advancement in the GOP.

If you needed a further indicator of how far that is true, simply consider the fact that American architects drafting plans to build new schools now incorporate in their designs, as a matter of course, structural features to protect students and staff from visiting "shooters" and/or allow them to evade same.

That is not a sign of a normal society.

Goodness, the last time I saw that GIF was - I think - in the days of that Corbynite paediatrician who used to be on here.
And who still owes me fifty quid.

The same people who would have a Trumpian government here in an instant.
