Jim’s missed the fact that someone has been arrested

Some of the stuff on Twitter last night was hilarious with diehard GBNews fans threatening to boycott the channel because it has suspended Fox, Wootton and the fake Vicar. Several presenter tweeted to say they were planning to stick it out on the channel through thick and thin. Whilst they were trying to make out this was out of principle in reality they are sticking with the channel because nobody else will give them a job.

Are GBN now part of Sunak’s Judean Popular Front faction?
Doesn’t look like Starmer has much Tory firepower to avoid when they’re circling the canons on themselves.

The bould Larry decided it would be a good idea to promote, encourage and suggest he'd join in with ULEZ vandalism, more or less ending with "what are they gonna do, arrest me?".

Anyone care to guess how that unfolded?

As I said when they were suspended, there doesn't seem to be any sign of solidarity from their colleagues. They're doubtless sizing up the extra showtime they can get.

There are likely to be a hundred or more unemployed former Tory MPs within a year.
They'd all like a nice paying gig at GBeebies, and don't need no cosplaying luvvies blocking those jobs.

Michelle Dewberry is having a meltdown on Twitter questioning how many of the 8000 people who complained to OFCOM about Wootton and Laurence Fox actually watched the show. Given that Fox has now been sacked by GB News this seems to be a silly debate to get into. Why can't she just admit that Fox and Wootton screwed up.

Let them fight.

The day their fans realise the endpoint of their logic is talking into a mirror about how amazing you are... will never come.

How many people who complained to OFCOM over Brand/Ross, or Blue Peter "fakery", or a billion and one other scandals were primary consumers?

Funny thing is that Dewberry is implying that no way could a GBN show have as many as 8000 viewers.

I think what Dewbury really means wants to say is that given the GB audience primarily consists of embittered, whiny, self-pitying men who were likely grinning along with Wootton when Fox went on his rant, they're unlikely to have raised a complaint with Ofcom.

The whole point of GB News is to generate stuff that can be shared on Twitter.

Why is she surprised that other people might do exactly the same?
