He flew in with Rockerfeller and Carnegie, on Howard Hughes' plane.

In the light of the "Forever blowing Bubba" revelations.

Something I recently saw on Reddit - froma poster who knew a lot more than they were letting on.
Trump has a heart attack and dies. He goes to Hell where the Devil is waiting for him.
"I don't know what to do," says the Devil. "You're on my list but I have no room for you. But you definitely have to stay here, so I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I've got three people here who weren't quite as bad as you. I'll let one of them go, but you have to take their place. I'll even let YOU decide who leaves." Trump thought that sounded pretty good so he agreed.

The devil opened the first room. In it was Richard Nixon and a large pool of water. He kept diving in and surfacing empty handed over and over and over, such was his fate in Hell. "No!" Trump said. "I don't think so. I'm not a good swimmer and I don't think I could do that all day long."

The Devil led him to the next room. In it was Tony Blair with a sledgehammer and a room full of rocks. All he did was swing that hammer, time after time after time. "No! I've got this problem with my shoulder. I would be in constant agony if all I could do was break rocks all day!" commented Trump.

The Devil opened a third door. In it, Trump saw Bill Clinton lying naked on the floor with his arms staked over his head and his legs staked in spread-eagle pose. Bent over him was Monica Lewinsky, doing what she does best.

Trump looked at this in disbelief for a while and finally said, "Yeah, I can handle this."

The Devil smiled and said, "Monica, you're free to go".......

Trump has massively rolled back tariffs. They'll be "Biden's tariffs" by next week.

He and Marjorie Taylor Greene have had a falling out.

It would be really ironic if Trump was finally brought to his knees by a Greene.

Monica Lewinsky lives in London, her partner is a friend of comedian Jimmy Carr. Carr recalls introducing her to Hugh Grant at his party: "Hi Hugh, the other big fellatio story from the 90s."

Marcy (Emptywheel) is a well-regarded legal poster. If she thinks that Trump's actually going to have to pay the tariffs back, then I'm inclined to take it seriously.

This is how deep the rot goes in the US right now.

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/680516 ... ournament/

One of the greatest women's golfers of all time, Annika Sorenstam invites Trump's daughter to play in the (pretty prestigious and lucrative) tournament that bears her name. Kai Trump is rated 461st in the US. Among juniors. She not surprisingly comes last by 6 shots.

Here's another cracker. The "Signature Policy Doctrine". That'll be news to President Obama, who had Obamacare pared back by the Supreme Court. And indeed Biden who ran on student loan forgiveness, and had the court block that.

I'm still trying to understand his sudden 'U'turn on the Epstein files. My best guess is that he is now into damage limitation mode. If the files come out now and there is a lot of stuff which is very embarrassing to him what will actually happen? There is zero chance of him facing criminal charges because he can play the immunity card, he is also safe from impeachment because the Republicans control both houses. So given time it could all blow over. If he delayed publication the worst of the stuff could come out when he no longer controls both houses and when his influences starts to wain as the Republicans start to search for their next presidential candidate.

The Republicans in the House were going to vote en masse to release, nothing he could do. As I understand it, the Justice Department can launch an investigation and then say that's a reason they can't release them, but I don't know if that's true.

He's getting a very easy time from the US media, who are saying "no proof of criminal wrongdoing" and all that. They might keep that up if it does come out.

It would be surprising if Trump hasn't got strokes to pull. The fact that Republicans defied him is a new welcome trend.

It's going leak I assume thats the position they will take.

They've already come out excusing it, I assume they also know that distancing themselves and allowing him to be tainted does their election hopes no damage. He might think he is running in 2028 but I do wonder.

Would he be even be in any cognitive state to run in 2028 if he was able to bypass the two-term limit? He'll be 82 and already rambles on like Abe Simpson.

There's more talk by other Republicans that they might run in 2028 now. I think they know Trump'll be done. Ted Cruz did it the other day.

Meanwhile, brave pivot from Mike Johnson to "champion of Epstein victims". It's weird to be in a world where Thomas Massie is the sane one.

This is Maga vote who knows if the pivot is there for them? We’ve seen this before after the last mid terms, if the Democrats can focus on one it may be difficult for them to win with anyone else. Kind of bit like Biden I always felt was the only one who could beat Trump but that’s Biden in 2020.

If the Democrats vacant pick the right person then they should win. Project 2025 looks already a bit of a busted flush.

It would appear that the Septics have voted by 427 to 1 to release the "Epstein Files".

I suspect nothing will come of this.
