Pure Birbslsingh.
VAT on private school fees is visceral to Badenoch. She can’t help it. Going to town on this popular policy is like going to town on on fox hunting.
That's the Politics of Privilege, which can sustain itself for decades on end while Kemi's tribe insatiably gorge themselves on inequality. There is now some concerted push-back but the LOTO lacks the convincing wherewithal to counter decency and fairness.
They might be rich but they are just not clever or agile enough to perform on demand.

Invoking the memory of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, Badenoch proves you really can stack shit that high.
Mindful of her attack on Phillipson, someone BTL in the Guardian suggested a retort of "okay then, let's get Michael Gove back - because he was such a fucking success at Education, wasn't he?"

I try to avoid TV news but had the misfortune of seeing Badenoch in action today. My god, what a fucking nasty piece of work. She encapsulates everything I've despised about the Tories the whole of my adult life.

Which is
exactly how Dead Ringers caricatures her....
But Lynsey Hoyle needs his fucking arse kicking up to his shoulder blades, the useless cunt. He should have sent Badenoch off for one of those cups of fucking tea he always wibbles on about.
When can he be got rid of?

If she's not worried about hurty words then she'll be ok with being referred to as "that fucking stupid piece of human garbage " then, won't she.

Socialist military dictatorships and talking like a Xitter post. What a leader she is.

That's what you get when you live your life on X looking for something to hate: brain rot.

What did Kemi make of the growth figures? Seen reasonably good, considering Ed Miliband's been in the Government. Then again, given that virtually the entire Left has spent 2 years making out that the Government are the worst ever, why should the leader of the Conservative Party be less rabid?

I love how Kemi's reply to being accused of ludicrous exaggeration is some bollocks about language policing and hurty words. The objection wasn't that Ed Miliband was crying. It was that this stuff demeans politics. She doesn't understand that at all.

I assume Kemi's idea behind "Drill baby drill" (Though probably stolen from her right wing hacks across the pond) is that no one will remember her.

The media are really propping her up, like putting away a few Mandelson half volleys makes her Mrs Thatcher.

Burnham's said some over the top stuff about how he's going to overturn 40 years of failure, but Kemi's response is even more stupid. The main thing he's saying, in line with having been a regional mayor, is that devolution works. George Osborne took steps in this direction, to his rare credit. Does Kemi think that Osborne's position was that "government creates all the growth"?

A more savvy Tory leader (Andy Street?) would point to Manchester embracing their approach to inward investment and how Tory mayors are doing similar things. Even Andrea Jenkyn wants a bit of Manchester's success.
A Burnham premiership can be comfortable that the Tories haven't a cat in hells chance of reclaiming the centre ground. Bloody hopeless.

Ha ha. More from Kemi on devolution here. If you support devolution it's because you "don't know the answers" yourself. As Giles Wilkes says, the PM shouldn't think they know what the answer is to social care in East Anglia and buses in Somerset. What does a "tough decision" about Somerset buses even mean?
