There is no self awareness with these people. There was one in the Telegraph moaning about Spanish government settling immigrants. Which if your a native Spanish person that has its points (not that I agree) however this guy was English who had saved up to retire in Spain.

Egghead Matthew Syed does football. You’d think he were on safer ground doing sport. He isn’t.
Premier League games are less exciting than PSG v Bayern. This reflects that we’re too risk averse as a nation and need more Victorian spirit.

So, because Polanski is jewish, a political cartoon attacking his clodhopping pronouncements as a political party leader is automatically anti-semitic ?
Am I missing something ?

Possibly the characterisation, which is straight out of Der Sturmer...

And also looks nothing like Polanski.

That's little more that Farage and wee Tommy with crayons.
Concrete proof that they only ever try to convince us that they care about the Jewish community when that faux concern is a stick with which to beat the left.

Sebastian Payne again. Labour having got about the same as the Tories, Greens and Liberal Democrats in local elections (while in government) means they have no reason to exist any more, whereas the other parties.... what? Great to hear that the Tories have won back the aspirational middle class though. Do these voters count double, like away goals?

Well his book about the red wall needs a boost in sales.
His Tory take is utterly classic and I don’t think he has realised what the Greens stand for…. I would say the Lib Dem’s and Greens are taking that highly aspirational middle class.
Let’s face it if they are anywhere it’s Surrey and they only had success sort of in Wandsworth which is further in.
They lost East Surrey, wiped out in Richmond, nothing in Kingston

The Tories won back Westminster and held Bromley well, but it doesn’t look like aspirational middle class revival overall.

Wouldn’t expect WM is “middle class”.
Suppose they did fine in Kensington, then again wasn’t 2022 the height of Johnson’s party stuff in the news?
Doesn’t particularly excuse the north east for Labour but might explain other bits. Does demonstrate how well Lib Dem’s did again mind.

Unconscious bias training is the "hard left" now, is it?

All the evidence that I've heard from serving and retired police officers points to the Nowak tragedy being accellerated* because the attending officers didn't follow their training.
Specifically: a) the training which tells them that when someone claims to have been stabbed, they should search that person's body, lifting/removing clothing as required until they either find a wound or establish there isn't one.
b) handcuffs are only deployed if the suspect is resisting arrest and/or there is a risk of them absconding.
*the medical assessments I've heard indicate Nowak was beyond help before the cops arrived, ie the police didn't kill him (as some are claiming), Digwa did.

AFAIK the only paper of record now is The Gazette...
