Forgotten? Or was it that people were simply unaware of it/couldn't care less/had better things to do with their time?

And how many of those that did turn up are the scorned "economically inactive"?

I have a couple of questions:
1. How do pensioners "go on strike", what are they striking from?
2. What were they striking for? I have no idea what their demands were and none of them seemed to know.
I've seen a few vox pops and all I heard was; "Starmer must go"; "he's destroying this country"; "everything he's done has been a disaster"; "he's a traitor". None of them, when pressed, could name single policy they didn't like, replies were simply "everything" or "open your eyes".
There was, inevitably, one joker who claimed Starmer had banned freedom of speech by taking away the right to protest...whilst attending a protest.

1. They haven't thought this through - see also striking on Bank Holiday Saturday.
2. They claim to be striking because they've "had enough" - memories of Ted and Dougal picketing their local Cinema "Careful now".

Only on GBNews I think and even that was only in passing due to the embarrassingly low turnout.

RT could muster more people for a pro Putin demo. But they no longer hold a broadcasting licence to masquerade as a news gathering organisation. So why does GBN?

Have some v committed political friends who went to a local counter demo.

From their account the main argument of the 'strike' was 'fuck migrants', which was supplemented by blank incomprehension when it was observed that said friends were migrants. The fact they were white seemed to create an assumption they were not.

Absolute fucking clowns, and instruments of something grotesque.

Free speech.

Bloke on GB News hurts Suella Braverman's feelings, and gets sacked. He's suing.

Bravermann doesn't have any feelings. Open and shut case.

I see GBNews were up to their old tricks at the weekend. One of there reporters was at the anti-immigration protest outside a hotel in Altrincham when she decide she would go over to talk to the counter demonstrators. None of the counter demonstrators wanted to talk to her because they new she was from GB News. Several people in the crowd asked to see her press credentials but she claimed she had forgotten them. With nobody biting she waded further into the crowd where people were waving placards she they suddenly tried to make out she had been assaulted with one of the placards and subsequently reported it to the police.
If this had been a one off incident you could give her the benefit of the doubt but most GB News reporters now seem to be pulling this kind of stunt when they want to try and undermine demonstrators who they disagree with.

The lefties had the audacity to ask for the GBN 'reporter's' press credentials. But as we know from Ofcom, it's an entertainment channel so she has none.

It would be interesting to see how many GeeBees staff do have proper press credentials.

Good question, don't they have proper news roundups on the hour as LBC does between their opinionated jocks?
I can't be bothered to tune in to find out. And that's due to this broadcastet's smatuerism and propaganda but its so bloody dull.

Even the Mail can't resist this one, Eamon Holmes goes full Partridge and like Alan, digs himself deeper trying to bury his gaffe (70s playground racism).
Eamonn Holmes leaves Kerry Katona speechless by asking if plastic surgery gave her 'Oriental' look

It's an exercise for the reader to decide whether Katona or Holmes looks more "Oriental".

Shades of Trump calling George Conway "moonface".
