We should leave the ECHR. Wasn't it a shame for all those poor people in the post offices?

Spot the irony.

Re: the Post Office. Big brave boy says he’ll support something if it happens, glossing over the fact he could (a) make it happen himself if he had the nerve and drive to do anything off of his own bat, and (b) also could have made it happen years ago but couldn’t be bothered until it became a bandwagon for him to jump on.

Sunak 'would support' probe into removing ex-Post Office chief's CBE

If we're going to start on ill-gotten honours, might as well revoke all Truss' lords and over half of Johnsons.

Who needs a fucking “probe” ?

Open and shut case. A million plus petition signatories think it needs to happen.

You'll never guess where she was working in 2019-20.
Press release
Three new Cabinet Office Non-Executive Board Members announced
Paula Vennells CBE, Karen Blackett OBE and Anand Aithal appointed as the latest Non-Executive Board Members for the Cabinet Office.
Yeah, don't think Sunak should be making too much of this...

Sunak understandably didn't enjoy this question. Shame because he's going to be asked it lots of times.

Central Office presumably approved the shortlist, didn't they?

I disagree. This is a lot less pretentious than usual

PMQs - still bringing up lockdowns and some literacy stats. Dowden looking like he always does, Mordaunt looking as if someone's shat on her.

Penny cracks a smile when Starmer makes a good gag dissing Sunak. A sailor on a sinking ship is not happy.

Yes, some serious "I've got a new job and am just working out these last few weeks" energy from her.

Assuming she keeps her seat, I think she's got a good chance of being leader. She might have one last time without Truss attacking her for being woke. The only person I've heard of who might get the non-headbanger votes is Cleverly, who she would probably beat. She's been effectively out of the day to day disasters as Leader of the House.

Cleverly seems to be on a mission to wreck his own chances of late, so I suspect his ship has sailed. And by ship I mean leaky inflatable kayak full of dog piss, but you get the idea.

Mordaunt vs Braverman would be quite the leadership contest. Might end up finally splitting the party and consigning them to the bin of history.
