Is Sadiq funding the extra kitchens? I recall the reaction to Clegg doing a limited version of this was less than ecstatic in some quarters. That may be why Starmer is less than pleased.
Of course that hasn't stopped people with running with Sir Kid Starver.

Sadiq Khan expands £2,000 Ulez grant to all Londoners with non-compliant vehicles
Couldn't this have been done before the Tories got their talking point? Though equally credit due to Khan for responding to the criticism.

"Man joins search for lost dog" is hardly newsworthy.

It is a damning indictment of the Tory government and how toxic they have made politics that "Senior political figure exhibits shred of human decency" is newsworthy.

I've written a sketch where he hands out leaflets asking if anyone has seen his principles, or his poll lead, or his charisma, or his peas - oops, that was from an old routine about John Majors. Anyway, look out for my name on the Spitting Images credits, or on those for Radio 4's hilarious wry look back at the week show on a Saturday morning.

Some poor comms again,

Rayner responded this morning basically outlying Labour’s plan.

If it’s completed on the first day or last day of term it’s still completed and it would be very odd not to consult the sector.
