Remember claims that Our Boys were fucking over Afghan soldiers they had served alongside, keeping them out of the country so they couldn't testify at war crimes hearings? Labour, the SNP and the BBC all asked questions.
The government denied it, not Our Brave Boys, salt of the earth chaps, SAS, super army soldiers and all that.
Turns out that wasn't entirely true. They didn't have a veto, they just were allowed to heavily brief and lean on the people who did. Meanwhile, looks like defence ministers misled parliament. Oh well, they're all wogs anyway.
