You mean the OVER-RATED Lord Byron ?
Totally, I looked it up, not one record in the Billboard Top 100.
Ahem!!!

Hmm, could one set Byron's work to ska, has anyone done it? A few years ago there was a rap version of Wordsworth's "I wandered lonely as a cloud" so I suppose it is possible.

Problem is some political songs can sound and read pretty badly but this I think is done really really well, then again Bruce is known for this kind of song.
I am a fan but its very good.

I'm not a fan, but I also think it's very good. I even rate it higher than the song by Billy Bragg (who I am a very big fan of).

Well, two days after release, Streets of Minneapolis has reached No 1 in the US download charts.
Not bad for an irrelevant overrated rocker.
cf Forbes magazine. I'm not going to let them put cookies on my phone so you'll have to do without a link.

If Trump had simply ignored the Springsteen comments the story would have been forgotten about in a couple of days but by responding Trump has ensured that more people have now heard about the original comments and it has extended the life of the story for at least another couple of weeks.

Sure, it's ok but these chronical narratives aren't exactly a call-to-action.
I guess he is too old and rich for that shit, but white people might indulge in a little solidarity streaming.

Brett Ratner, a very prolific in demand Hollywood hack director. Or was until sexual abuse allegations made him persona non grata and jobless. So he has no dignity or reputation left to lose.

The I newspaper tried to big up the Melania film by claiming that it has done well for a documentary film. The problem with this particular piece of spin is that most documentaries don't get shown in as many cinemas are the Melania film is being shown in and most documentaries don't have a $35m promotional budget.

I'd go and watch it - or rent it on Betamax - just for the belter of a hat she wore as the crowning glory of her rags-to-rapist story.

If you haven't heard of four walling its when distributors buy up seats in a cinema in advance to guarantee a showing and raise the profile of a movie. This is small change to Jeff Bezos paying his tribute to the court of mad King Donald.
We've now reached the point where its for the best if Trump and his family are executed by firing squad. Hopefully the tech oligarchs watch before its their turn.

Compliant media outlets are claiming the film is the best performing documentary in a decade earning $7m this weekend,. But Beyoncé’s Renaissance documentary earned $21 million its opening weekend.

Yeah it’s an utter bollocks claim Taylor Swift made close to 30m in pre sales and an estimated over 100m on the first 3 days.
Seems Amazon is block booking cinemas, so as to boost the stats. IIRC the Christian right did similar with "The Passion of the Christ", and often do with otherwise sure-fire flops that espouse their message.
