Went to the supermarket on Friday, over here in that EU, and bought a jar of what it was calling itself 'orange marmalade'. Tastes a lot like marmalade, made of oranges. Quite citrussy.


[On a side note I once had a bad-tempered email exchange with an American author who had people eating 'strawberry marmalade' in Victorian Britain... He couldn't see anything wrong, which neatly encapsulates the American attitude to the English language and the world in general.]

It would seem that Seville Orange marmalade is off the menu if you're on statins anyway, unless someone here is better informed than the Internet?
