Going to try to remember to look for visitor numbers to the Smithsonian in a few months to see how much this publicity has increased it by. Like when Radio One banned records back in the day, you could bet your last quid they'd be number 1 in the next week's chart.

Unfortunately, if visitor numbers do go up, the increase won't be coming from those who need educating the most. Those people already dismiss uncomfortable facts as woke commie bullshit.

Also the use of the word "Marxism". I don't know an awful lot about the Smithsonian and nothing about it's leadership but I'd be astonished if it's run by Marxists.

Right-wing American's bandying words like "Marxist", "Socialist", "Communist" around remind me of nothing so much as Rik from The Young Ones labelling everything he didn't approve of as "Fascist" - utterly meaningless.
