A curiousity is that the sole "Workers Party" councillor voted for the Tories to lead the council.
Accelerationism, comrade.

Reading between the lines here, Rebecca Waters obviously did not vote for Parkin because he is a disgusting, reactionary, mysogynist, racist wanker - too much to stomach even for a newbie Reform councillor.
I don't think Ms Waters' future in the Reform group is in very much doubt. She doesn't have one. If one sinner repenteth, and all that......

Lots more of this to come, no doubt. How grim.

I bet if some 1970s-style racism was meted out to Zia Yusuf he'd soon go roaring to the police.

I had a look at the comments under that YT video. Seriously, we need to destroy the Internet - and
now.
However, it did give up this little beauty - worthy of the "eggcorns" thread elsewhere

1970’s, most likely it was the police who were dishing it out

As usual it's the female journalists who get the worst of it, I believe Laura Kuenssberg and Fiona Bruce get the most, probably as they have the highest profiles. Male journalists do attract hate including threats but nowhere near the same amount.

Tactical voting has blocked Reform in Hamilton (Labour win), Caerphilly (Plaid) and Denton (Greens). Farage becoming more repellent to win back headbangers from Lowe's outfit will only exacerbate this trend and put off some Tories from switching.

Does Farage know what an internship is? Does he think it's akin to a seat on the board or something? If these are the best example of anti-merit he can come across, I can't see he'll bring much improvement in competency. Pathetic stuff. This is like Trump trying to make out incompetent black pilots are a danger to passengers.

The grifting cunt's so fucking lazy he doesn't even come up with anything original - it's all just "whatever Trump is doing, we'll copy it word-for-word", even down to the use of "DEI", which I thought was ED&I in this country...

A documentary should invite Farage to black up for a week to experience alleged first class treatment he’s been deprived of as a white man. What a twat.

"Effectively excluded": - the giveaway.
He's seen an ad saying "We particularly welcome applications from underrepresented communities" and turned it into "No white men".
He knows exactly what an internship is, he's counting on his followers not to know.

I am sure he knows exactly what internships are - Daddy has a word with one of the chaps from the old school network so that Tarquin can make some contacts while doing as little as possible. Tarquin can stay in Daddy's London flat so he can afford to work for the National Minimum Wage for his age range (itself a relatively new requirement as they were often unpaid).

That is basically how he started. The way he tells it, he left college, and had a chat with one of his parents' friends (at the local golf club, naturally) about what he fancied doing next. Next step, city brokerage.

And not being able to do that anymore is anti-white discrimination.

Funny thing is that for some years now, the Northern Irish Civil Service have been promoting positions/jobs while tagging on that they would particularly welcome applications from white male Protestants, mainly because they are under-represent in the NICS workforce.
P.S. It's not as if the NICS has a huge foreign lesbian gender-fluid cohort working for them.
