Trump is apparently so pissed off with Musk that he is considering cancelling the government contracts that Musk’s companies had secured or were in the process of securing.

Just consider that for a moment. The President of the USA is going to cancel the award of important and/or lucrative government contracts because he has fallen out with the owner of the contractor companies. Not because they do not represent best value, or for any other strategic reason that would be in the interests of the state.
