I note this morning that Tim Montgomerie has finally had enough and decided to quit Reform UK.

This is the third incarnation of the Farage party to implode into a shit show. The Kipper MEPs ended up lamping each other in the EP while the Brexit Party's main function was an electoral pact to place the worst PM in history into power.

Is it because they're too bigoted, or not bigoted enough?

Farage's electoral strategy this week is wooing waverers by condemning the grunting apes in masks descending on Dover. That's going to rile the faithful who love Tommeh.

Don't know why Tim Montgomerie is such a ubiquitous talking head for hire, he's a fucking idiot.

The Robinson/Farage split happened a while back - I think it was over Farage condemning the riots in Northern Ireland. Farage was dismissed as "woke" and a "traitor", possibly by Robinson himself.

Tim Montgomerie's status as someone worth listening to seems to have been built entirely on the fact he founded and ran Conservative Home. This was taken to mean he had intel on the mood of the Tory grassroots, bollocks of course because the self-selecting commentators on there represented nobody but themselves.
