One of the big issues of that cretinous Leave campaign was the EU taking away our right to eat bendy bananas. Bendy cucumbers was added on to that

Boris Johnson made a career out of writing such nonsense.

Fuck me, this is just awful,
A reminder, this took place in progressive San Francisco. It doesn't matter that Scott Weiner, the person being hounded, is pro-trans nor that he is pro-Palestine; his name is Weiner, and he must be driven out for being impure.

Trans allies welcome, unless they're Jewish.
Also, he wants to build houses, and for people in San Francisco, that's really bad.

BREAKING: thick as fuck yanks are loud.
I think "You stopped being queer the moment you supported Israel" was my favourite, how about you?
Fun fact: Tel Aviv Pride is the largest in the Middle East.
I'd like ranty man to try that line there and see how that works out for him.

There's nothing worse than movements that demand ideological purity. See also people getting their underwear in a twist when a celeb they like gives an opinion that doesn't 100% mirror their own.
Used to be that such people were at their most dangerous ranting at the cheese counter at Asda - nowadays they have a community thanks to the likes of Facebook & the internet at large.

Tomorrow is the 4th of July in the year the US turns 250, we're going to hear various versions of what that means. For balance, I enjoyed this video. The presenter is an American living in London who self-identifies as a refugee. I think she's rather good, maybe you will too?

A pendant writes:
Akshully, it's not the 250th anniversary of Y'allistan independence. The 13 colonies each received independence individually with the signing of the Treaty of Paris in 1783. The USA came into being at some point after that.

Yes, but the Septics, thanks to their marvellous public school system, think it's 250 years because, as the video explains, they don't get taught history. As for Maths - they can't even spell it!

That's splitting hairs. It's the Declaration of Independence that marks the birth of America, and no serious historian is going to think the United States really began later.

So, if a country self-identifies as independent then it is, despite still being governed by another country at the time?
Has anyone told the Scots and Welsh Nats, it could save a lot of ball-ache?
If he is centre right then your more moderate Republican must be to the right of Hitler. His opponent is Chinese but there is no suggestion she supports the genocide committed by China then again these bellends pick the genocides they want to oppose.

Meanwhile, the organisers of said march managed to disgrace themselves.
Organizers of the 22-year-old event doubled down on the protesters’ criticism in a statement Tuesday, even as dozens of political leaders signed a letter saying the confrontation had gone too far.
“Trans March participants holding politicians accountable is nothing new,” organizers wrote, claiming that Wiener was accompanied by a security detail “and was at no point in danger.”
A spokesperson for Wiener contested that characterization, writing that Wiener “had no security detail with him” and that the organizers were “lying to do damage control after all the bad publicity they have received.”
Organizers criticized Wiener for addressing the incident on social media and using “the confrontation in fundraising communications” instead of resolving his concerns with the march’s organizers. Their statement also noted that the Trans March has not featured politicians in its programming since 2016, when Wiener, then a member of the Board of Supervisors, was booed while speaking at the event.
Turns out being a trans ally counts for nothing when they decide to drive you out.

Some will call me a hater.
I get a bit freaked out by the more extreme plastic surgery in Trump's orbit.
Here's Donnie talking about Soccer red cards.
The poor lady right of shot (left as we look) can just about blink, or nod slowly.
Who does this to themselves?
