And now there will be a leadership contest, most likely won by an unknown quantity who comes across as a bit of a populist twat, and who nobody knows what he actually stands for. I just hope his abilities match his ambition.

And then pulled out, kicked around a bit, shat on by a diarrohaic cow, buried, dug up, set fire to and stabbed with rusty nails. Before being set fire to.

I am starting to understand what medieval rulers saw in hanging, drawing and quartering.

I agree. Let's have a GE just like the ones we had when Truss replaced Johnson, and when Sunak replaced Truss.

It is a shame he hung on in a way at the GE.

Volodymyr Zelensky is at the front of the pack of international leaders paying tribute to Sir Keir Starmer’s premiership this afternoon.

The Ukrainian president thanked the prime minister for the “cooperation, support, and the joint decisions that have helped make our Europe and our protection of life stronger”.
But hey - no contest - the King of the North sorted some bus routes in Manchester...

Streeting has written in support of Burnham, they have apparently had extensive talks over the weekend so no doubt they have made a deal involving one of the great offices of state, James O'Brien thinks it might be Chancellor.

In other news, Angela Rayner has paid tribute to Starmer but failed to throw her weight behind Burnham, looks like she might be weighing her chances.

So a chancellor who has largely saved a failing economy will be discarded to do favour to a rat-faced arselicker.

Cunts.

Rachel Reeves is toast, that's not Streeting, that's Burnham, he wants to go on a spending spree and he has no intention of sticking to the fiscal rules in the manifesto. I wonder if he'll write a new manifesto and call an early election?
