I seem to recall Baroness Boothroyd openly describing Collins as a bit of crumpet for women of a certain age, as well.

Tim Collins is a regular rentagob on speed dial. Bet he does motivational speaker gigs for corporate planks.

Mr James may focus on Johnson, and it's an easy target.
Even Stevie Wonder could see that we have a corrupt chancer at the helm.
I'd like to see some Labour aligned journos asking the bigger questions.
* How did the Tories promote this man to leadership?
* What is it about their selection system that promotes so many mini-Boris characters?
* Where was the press "holding to account" when they scapegoated hungry kids?
* Who do we expect them to "bat for" when this year's cost of living crisis descends?
* Why have so few newspapers and broadcast media dug deep into the morass tat is Downing Street?

Yup yup ypu yup. Johnson is a virus, but also a symptomn of another virus. It's not use focusing on the former and ignoring the latter.

There was a prime bit of gammon calling in to O'Brien's show, letting us all know why he voted Tory. Apparently a community centre somewhere in Bradford refused to sell bacon or something. Plus there was other guff about white schoolkids being banned from museum trips, and closed libraries because of women being allowed in men's toilets or something ridiculous like it.

Don't forget a Sikh without a motorcycle helmet.

Why didn't he piss in the motorcycle helmet that he wasn't going to wear?

The main reason libraries check if people really need the loo is because quite often, people use them to do drugs, have a drink, or nick the toilet rolls.
Women, especially pregnant women, and small kids, generally get waved through, because their need is frequently obvious. However I know of no library authority that blanket bans men from going for a wee.
Might just ask the library community for evidence on this. Makes a change from the sodding summer reading challenge.

white schoolkids being banned from museum trips.
When challenged by JO'B, he named the school and the head so he appears to have knowledge of it. I suspect that HIS kids were banned from the trip, not because they're white, but because they're unruly little racist shites because they've been raised by him.
Edit: Update today (20th Jan), LBC have been in contact with the named school and they have never taken pupils to the slavery museum.

Of all the things James O'Brien expected his radio phone in show to be, a makeshift Samaritans hotline for people pushed to their breaking point by perennial poverty probably wasn't one of them

Getting clear of 80 minutes' physio with Nurse Ratchett, I went over to the bakery for restorative coffee and a roll in the sunshine.
Five minutes of those wretched souls' tales and I was close to tears. JO'B was beyond marvellous.

He was. Empathetic, understanding, consoling, and even generous when he offered to lend the poor sod a cash injection to steer him through choppy waters.
I expect such generosity of spirit (and of wallet offered) will wash completely over the likes of Bastani who still blame JOB and others as the enemy within that stopped Magic Grandad from leading us to the socialist promised land

Having been the anti slavery museum I’d say it’s white kids who should be the first to go.
It did really leave an emotional punch on me that I don’t think I’ll ever shift.
