That's also a great example of "the public don't care about.... this thing that makes my political tribe look shit".

Searing political insight into....Brooklyn Beckham. Meandering toss about sleb culture, with a trace of Donnie's Got a Point regarding everything that happened this week.

Drivel.

the Beckhams do us a huge national service by staging a human drama with which we can all identify

His Adrian Chiles AI app knocked this one out. As discussed on another thread there's little evidence the over 45s in the UK have heard much from them in the past 25 years and those younger have little idea who Posh and Becks are. The couple do know who their kids are though.

Starmer smuggled those suitcases of wine into number 10.
Got all Johnson's spads pissed.
Broke the children's swing.

Incident happens under the Tories. Starmer gets the blame.

Industrial Tribunals deal in facts and procedures. If the employers followed all the correct procedures then the dismissal would be seen as fair and within the law. There is zero scope for sentiment or emotions in a industrial tribunal.

Johnson is so used to getting into trouble and then being bailed out by his dad or his friends that he thinks that any decision can be overturned if the right amount of pressure is applied.

Bus abandoned and passengers left FUMING as driver runs off.

The point being, the driver is the only staffer on the bus. There's nobody else, and that's something that may contribute to a rise in this sort of incident. And the reason there are no conductors is because they were disposed of to cut costs.

What if the driver was beaten up by the thief? What if he had a seizure? What if someone jumped in the cab and drove the bus away?

The majority of tribunal claims are settled before hearing, which indicates that he was either very stubborn and ignored legal advice, or that he wasn't as innocent as it seems.

Other factors at play would be if he had previous warning for his conduct and if he indicated that he would behave in exactly the same way if a similar situation was to arise.

I see echoes of Tony Martin - surround yourself with people who tell you you're in the right and no jury would convict, then refuse any compromise because you're right.

Cunt gets on his high horse and preaches about corruption and the dark side of the ruling classes. Boris fucking Johnson claiming the moral high ground. Boris fucking Johnson.

As an aside, he really does come across as if he thinks everyone is an idiot.

What a piece of shit.

I assume he welcomes falling birthrates among working class types and fuzzy wuzzies in Bongo Land but that doesn't apply to people like him.
That aside its a rare occasion in which I agree with him.
Falling birth rates AREN’T a disaster, they’re the best bit of global news in a long time

When I was born, the world had 3.2billion people. Since then, we have added about five billion people and the environmental impact of those extra human beings has been pretty catastrophic.

Whatever your views on climate change, there is no disputing the cost imposed by humanity on the natural world: the continent-sized losses of forestry and wetlands, the poisoning of rivers and seas with effluent and plastic detritus.

In my lifetime we have annihilated hundreds of species – animals and plants that took billions of years to evolve; and while the human population has almost trebled, the population of wild vertebrates has fallen by more than 70 per cent.

Standard Johnson guff - everything's great if you look at it from the right angle. He's never got past those "write an article for, and one against, the issue" assignments in English class.

Except that in English you'd be marked down for admitting your ignorance about a vital part of your argument. Here it's just Boris being Boris.
