This was being discussed on Farming Today this morning. One farm has their chickens running around underneath them, whilst sheep are used as organic lawnmowers

You seem to forget, Malc, that one of the Brexit bonuses is for us to no longer have access to EU funds for nice things. Instead, we have Johnson, Gove, Fargle and Cummings' extra £350 million a week, which wasn't a lie in any way shape or form at all, oh no it wasn't.

Opposition to renewables from both the fossil fuel companies and the Unions is very much political pressure.

There's no real opposition to renewables over car parks, on warehouses, that sort of thing. Much greater opposition to very large solar farms, wind farms etc.

Which is precisely why there's political pressure against carport solar, the nimbies have already got the fields covered.
