They're not part of the curriculum, just something the teacher can dip into as something different if you have the time. Quite why this is "activism", rather than education, God knows.

That's rather dismissive.
There are programmes of study* where a good teacher can ensure that the story of women, of people of colour, of immigration, of political change are included.

While flicking through the channels earlier I spotted Toby Young being interviewed by Philip Davies and Esther McVey. He seemed to be getting very angry at the government for placing too many regulations on internet companies. Apparently when the country voted for Brexit they did so because they wanted less regulations not more regulations.

It is rather ironic that Captain Bellend wants less regulations because if the Internet had been better regulated in the past perhaps he wouldn't have posted so many dodgy tweets which ultimately cost him a well paid job in the University sector.

He wants licence to do whatever he wants, with no blowback. That's all.
