Come across a right leaning pundit Rory Sutherland who is interesting, original, well read and has put in some hard yards before expressing his ideas that aren't just aimed at Spectator readers where he's an occasional coloumnist. Caught my ear as that is such a rarity on the British right.

The courts usually take the view that whoever throws the first punch is in the wrong, attempting to justify assault on the grounds you thought you might be assaulted is legally shaky ground.
