A new thread to discuss our friends at the Beeb repeating false stories supplied by inside stories and the like.

The thing about gaslit club,m is you're never quite sure if you're in gaslit club.
I've been trying to count the Covid Waves, and reckon it goes like this.

1. Sloanes return from their new year's skiiing in the Dolomites, bringing an unwelcome fellow traveller.
Lockdown on March 23rd

2. Easing during summer 2020, followed by eat out to help out.
More bigger lockdown.

3. Fill your boots this merry Christmas says Johnson.
More grannoes dead in January and more serious lockdown.

Today the Beeb tries to convince us we are heading for a third wave.

I'm not entirely sure that last one merits the epithet of the BBC "chatting shit".

I take it there will be an apology should it come to pass?

#thirdwave is trending on Twitter, I'm not sure why the BBC are not supposed to report the story which other news outlets are covering.

For example, are Channel 4 chatting shit too?

The BBC says the Indian variant is easier to catch, and with scenes like Bournemouth beach being repeated across the country over the weekend, I wouldn't be surprised to another spike, if not an actual third wave.

Adding the incompetence/evilness of our government to the Grate Bwitish (English mainly) Comun Sence, I don't think we'll ever be rid of this feckin' plague.
